Anti-Trump “No Kings” rallies were held across the country Saturday, with organizers listing more than 3,000 “No Kings: Vote Early” events in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Organized with partners including Indivisible and the ACLU, the events were billed as a “nonpartisan” push to get people to vote early in the Nov. 3 midterms, but signs and speeches at many of them targeted President Trump, immigration enforcement and the war with Iran.
The White House dismissed the effort. “The fact that the ‘No Kings’ organizers are talking about voting in the upcoming election proves they should change their name,” spokeswoman Lauren Bis told Newsweek. She said voters face “a clear choice” between Trump’s “commonsense policies” and Democrats’ “radical socialist, open-border policies.”
In Washington, marchers crossed the Arlington Memorial Bridge from Virginia to the Lincoln Memorial, near the site of Trump’s proposed triumphal arch, CNN reported. The Associated Press said what appeared to be a few hundred people rallied at the memorial with signs like “VOTE EARLY.” A U.S. Park Police officer warned marchers chanting “Take the streets!” not to block traffic.
In Dallas, demonstrators at Pacific Plaza carried signs protesting ICE and the war in Iran and backing Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico, The Dallas Morning News reported.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom praised the rallies at a Democratic event in New Hampshire, calling them “a demonstrable example of people that haven’t given in to cynicism, haven’t given in to fear and anxiety.”
Earlier No Kings protests were held in June and October 2025 and in March. Trump has rejected claims that he acts like a king.
