Editorial Policy — ProfiloPolitics
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Truth is the only agenda. This page explains how ProfiloPolitics reports, what we will not publish, and how we handle mistakes.
1. Verification Before Amplification
Every story is verified before it is published. We check facts, figures, quotes, and dates against primary sources — official statements, public records, press conferences, and reputable reporting. We do not invent facts, and we do not publish what we cannot verify. Stories that cannot be verified are not published, full stop.
2. What We Cover
ProfiloPolitics covers real events: breaking news, politics, public policy, and matters of public interest. We cover the news truthfully as it happens — including difficult stories — and we always include the relevant response, actions, and full context, including the position of the administration and officials involved.
3. What We Do Not Publish
- Fabricated or unverifiable stories. If it cannot be verified, it does not run.
- Controlled narratives. We do not publish polls, surveys, approval ratings, or "study findings" as news. These are manufactured products, not events.
- Stale news. We report what is happening now, not recycled stories from days past.
4. News vs. Commentary
News articles report verified events. Commentary and opinion pieces carry our voice and perspective and are presented as such. We do not disguise opinion as straight reporting.
5. Headlines
Our headlines say what happened, in plain terms. A reader should understand the event from the headline alone. We do not use vague or sensational phrasing that hides the news.
6. Fairness
We report both sides where they exist. Allegations are reported as allegations — never hardened into fact. Qualified claims keep their qualifications. When we quote officials, we quote them accurately and in context.
7. Images
We use real photographs, not manufactured graphics, with our articles. Photos depict the people or subjects the story is about. We do not use misleading or deceptively edited imagery.
8. Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it. Significant corrections to published articles are noted clearly. If you spot an error, contact us through the Site or our official channels (@profilopolitics) and we will review it promptly.
9. Independence
ProfiloPolitics answers to its readers and to the truth. Our coverage is not for sale: we do not alter, soften, or spike stories in exchange for payment, access, or favor.
