Russia and Ukraine traded overnight strikes into Saturday, injuring several people on both sides of the border.
In the Kyiv region, a Russian drone attack injured four people in Hostomel, regional head Timur Tkachenko said. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said Russia struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge across the Dnipro for the third consecutive day, damaging the road surface and trolleybus lines and blocking traffic between the city's banks.
Russia's Defense Ministry confirmed the strikes, saying its forces hit the bridge, a Hostomel logistics center, and a cargo ship near Odesa. On the other side, Ukraine's General Staff said it struck a Russian drone launch site in Donetsk and a command post in Russia's Belgorod region; Russia said it intercepted 218 Ukrainian drones.
