At a town hall in Warren, Michigan, Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin stood with Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and reached for Saddam Hussein, the former dictator of Iraq, to talk about President Donald Trump. Her line was that even Saddam would spit out his tea at the money she says Trump has taken from his own people.
And how fast did she bank it on her service. CIA. Iraq specialist. Baghdad. Service is great — but they want to legit anything they say with that point, like the résumé makes the claim true.
That is a sitting senator putting the president next to a dictator and talking like the case is already made. How blind are they? Imagine Slotkin follows that with impeach and prosecute. If Trump chose to do it first, the same media calling this accountability would call it an attack on democracy.
