President Donald Trump is holding a midterm rally tonight in Mobile, Alabama, at the Mitchell Center on the University of South Alabama campus. Doors opened at 2 p.m. CT, with the program beginning at 6 p.m.
The rally features Senate candidate Barry Moore, along with Sen. Tommy Tuberville and Rep. Jerry Carl. Mobile is a sentimental stop for Trump — it hosted one of his first big stadium rallies back in August 2015, when Barry Moore became the first elected official in America to endorse his presidential run.
Tonight's event is the second stop of a two-night red-state swing that began in Durant, Oklahoma on Thursday. Trump heads to Ohio on Saturday as part of a month-long push to energize Republican voters ahead of the November 3 midterms.
Republicans in Alabama say the goal is simple: get out the vote. With control of Congress on the line, every rally counts.
