President Trump is speaking out after New York Gov. Kathy Hochul appointed Attorney General Letitia James as special prosecutor in the Cornell sexual assault case.
Trump called James a "corrupt person" and questioned whether those under her prosecution would receive a fair process, saying, "I feel badly for whoever she's looking at because they won't get a fair shake!"
Hochul appointed James after saying new information raised serious questions about the original investigation and the decision not to prosecute. James will now oversee the case and can pursue charges or present evidence to a grand jury if warranted.
