    Covington Police have identified the man found shot dead on Oct 21 near West 11th and Patterson streets in Newport as Donnel B. Johnson. Police are looking for two persons of interest who were seen in a gold 2012-2016 Chevrolet Malibu with tinted windows and black rims, and Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward in the case. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040 — callers can stay anonymous and may receive money for their information.     Update #1 — NEWPORT, KY: Police Identify Isaac Reno Hamilton, 25, Held on a Murder Charge in the East 7th Street Fatal Shooting

    Newport police say the suspect in the Friday, October 23 fatal shooting in the 200 block of East 7th Street, at about 11:21 p.m., is Isaac Reno Hamilton, 25. He remained at the scene, was taken into custody, and was remanded to the Campbell County Detention Center on a charge of murder. Detectives say the shooting stemmed from a neighbor dispute. The victim, a man, died at the University of Cincinnati Hospital and is still not publicly named.
