01Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ProfiloPolitics website, articles, newsletters, contact forms, tip channels, and other features we make available (collectively, the “Service”). In these Terms, “ProfiloPolitics,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the publisher of the Service.

By using the Service, you confirm that you can legally agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization. A parent or legal guardian should supervise use by anyone who has not reached the age of majority where they live.

02What we provide

ProfiloPolitics publishes news reporting, political commentary, analysis, interviews, photographs, video, audio, newsletters, and related editorial material. Some pieces express the author’s viewpoint. Commentary and opinion are identified by their context, presentation, or labeling.

The Service is provided for general informational and editorial purposes. It is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, tax, voting, or other professional advice.

03Permitted use

You may use the Service for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You may share links to our public pages and quote brief excerpts when you clearly credit ProfiloPolitics and link to the original article.

Any other reproduction, republication, syndication, commercial use, data licensing, or distribution requires our prior written permission unless applicable law clearly permits it.

04Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Service to:

• break the law, encourage unlawful conduct, or violate another person’s rights;
• copy, scrape, harvest, republish, or commercially exploit our content at scale without permission;
• use automated systems in a way that burdens, disrupts, or interferes with the Service;

• use the ProfiloPolitics name, branding, or content to suggest an endorsement we did not give.

We may restrict access or take other reasonable action when we believe use of the Service threatens its security, integrity, availability, or the rights of others.

05Ownership and sharing

The Service and its original articles, design, graphics, branding, and other original material are owned by or licensed to ProfiloPolitics and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party photographs, video, quotations, trademarks, and other material remain the property of their respective owners.

No right or license is granted except the limited permission to use the Service described in these Terms. Requests to reproduce or license our material should be sent through the contact information below.

06Tips, messages, and submissions

If you send us a tip, correction, message, photo, video, document, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to send it and that doing so does not violate any law, confidentiality obligation, court order, or third-party right.

You keep ownership of material you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, verify, edit, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display that material for reporting, editorial, promotional, and archival purposes. This license lasts as long as needed for those purposes and continues for material already published or archived.

Sending material does not guarantee publication, payment, confidentiality, attribution, or a response. Do not send information through an ordinary contact form if disclosure could put someone at risk. We may remove, decline, or edit submissions in line with our editorial standards.

07Accuracy, updates, and corrections

We work to publish accurate information and to distinguish reporting from commentary. News develops, sources can conflict, and information that was accurate when published may later change. We may update, correct, clarify, or remove content when warranted.

Publication dates, update notes, source links, captions, and labels form part of an article’s context. Readers should review the full article rather than relying only on a headline, excerpt, social post, or search result.

08Third-party links and services

The Service may link to or embed content from news organizations, social platforms, video hosts, advertisers, and other third parties. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, or terms.

A link, embed, quotation, or reference does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party or every view it expresses. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms.

09Advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate links

ProfiloPolitics may display advertising, publish sponsored material, participate in affiliate programs, or receive compensation connected to certain content. When payment or another material relationship influences a publication, we aim to disclose that relationship clearly.

Advertising and sponsorship do not give a third party the right to control our independent editorial conclusions. Transactions with advertisers or linked businesses are between you and that business; review their terms before acting.

10Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the Service, including information connected to analytics, advertising cookies, newsletter sign-ups, and contact or tip submissions. By using the Service, you acknowledge that the Privacy Policy applies alongside these Terms.

11Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party material.

Political events, election rules, candidate positions, public statements, and other news can change quickly. Verify time-sensitive information with the responsible election authority, government body, court, campaign, or original source before relying on it.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ProfiloPolitics and its contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, reputation, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of—or inability to use—the Service.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

13Your responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or material you submit that infringes another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct.

14Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We may also update these Terms. When we make a material change, we will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.

We may preserve prior versions for our records. If a change materially affects your rights, it applies prospectively unless the law allows otherwise.

15General legal terms

These Terms and any dispute relating to the Service are governed by the laws that apply where ProfiloPolitics operates, without giving effect to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms shown for a specific feature, form the agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
